| Meeting the Golden Eagle |

 When arriving at the Simplon Pass Road in Switzerland this vacation we where looking for the "Prohibited"-Sign where we had to enter the serpentines road to go up the hill to the plateau where we wanted to meet my parents, sister and her family and my aunt. We where one day ahead of the rest of the crew. We found the roan and when entering, a strong feeling entered me... I told Ulrike : "Grandfather Eagle is living here". The evening was busy, unpacking the car and getting the things prepared for our days there. The next morning i stood up very early, took my drum and went to a "circle" place where I had a 360-degree view into some of the highest mountains of switzerland 3000 and 4000 Meter and more. I smudged and started drumming and singing.... Suddenly this feeling was there again. So I sang an Eagle song to greet him ... Hung hung hung.... some may know this song. And I prayed to the eagle... asking him to show hiomself to my eyes, so my brain can believe my heart. The song was sang and i looked up to the peek, where i "felt" the eagle... and there he showed himself. Rising out of the peek, a free living eagle, circeling up and up and up.... Such tremendous feelings....and then he finally vanished, because he circeld so high, i could not see him again. ---------------------- Later I was told of the alpine herdsman, that an eagle family is living right where i felt and saw him.
